On May 24, the groundbreaking ceremony for the non-bonded transshipment center project of the Capital Airport Air Cargo Base was successfully held in the Capital Airport Logistics Park. Mr. Chen Guang, Director of Comprehensive Service Center of the Administrative Committee of Tianzhu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Mr. Hu Tianmu, Managing Director of ACL, Vice General Manager Ms. Zhao Peng, Vice General Manager Mr. Jing Wenzheng, Ms. Xia Xiaohui, Vice General Manager of Zhongtian Group (Beijing), and Mr. Zhang Dongyu, Vice General Manager of China Construction Association Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
 
The non-bonded transshipment center project is located on the east side of Huoyun North Road, Capital Airport and on the south side of Truck Exit of Tianzhu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone. The total construction area is about 49,800 square meters with an investment of about 200 million yuan. It has the functions of refrigeration, heat preservation storage and transportation. It is a supporting project for the Capital Airport Logistics Park and is planned to be put into operation in October 2020.
 
The groundbreaking ceremony of the non-bonded transshipment center project of the Capital Airport Air Cargo Base marked the official launch of the project’s investment and construction. After the project is completed, the functions of collecting, distributing and transferring the high value-added goods will be achieved by integrating the port resources of Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone to further enhance the operational efficiency of the Beijing Port.
